Our mission
GreenPalate's mission is to reconnect people with the seasons through honest, ingredient-forward cuisine and thoughtful event service. We believe food should tell a story — where it came from, who tended it, and how it was prepared. To achieve that, we work directly with regional growers, foragers, and small producers, building menus that amplify what is abundant rather than forcing out-of-season ingredients. Our approach also places environmental and social responsibility at the center of planning. We design logistics to reduce single-use packaging, prioritize reusable service where possible, and continually measure food waste to refine purchasing and preparation. Education is part of our work: we teach workshops that help people understand seasonal techniques and small changes that reduce waste in home kitchens. Ultimately, we aim to create memorable culinary moments while supporting a resilient local food system.
Our story
GreenPalate began as a small tasting series connecting chefs and farmers around Pacific Northwest harvests. Early dinners were hosted in community spaces, each menu highlighting a single farm or producer. The positive response encouraged the team to broaden services into private dining and event catering while preserving the small-scale relationships that made the dinners special. Over time, the studio evolved to include menu consulting, seasonal meal planning, and educational programming for community groups and corporate partners. We kept a deliberate pace of growth to retain creative control and ensure quality. Today, our work spans private celebrations, corporate retreats, and ongoing collaborations that center regional flavor and reduce the ecological footprint of gatherings. Every project begins with listening: understanding client priorities, guest needs, and the local food calendar — then shaping a plan that balances hospitality, taste, and sustainability.
